CHRISTMAS PARTY: THURSDAY 29

This week we will have our Christmas Party, finally will be this Thursday 29 at 20 hours o´clock. All of us should bring something to eat, we will prepare some games to have a nice meeting.

Date Christmas Party

In our las meeting we talked about our Christmas Party, like the last year we decided to bring some food and prepare some games. 

We talked about games like "Pass the gift" (One big gift, with a lot of wrappings is past to ther person and this person quit one wrapping, who wuit the last wrapping win the gift), "Mimic", "Guess the character" (All put a paper on his head with a famous name and need to guess who is him only with yes or not questions), "Continue the History" (Someone start a history and the others continious his history, englishs in spanish and spanishs in english) or "Papers" (3 Bottles with the tittles "Phrases", "Vowels" "How?" In the first bottle we put some sentences, in the second vowels and in the last how? Jumping, smiling... Then we separate the group in two teams and one by one we take a one paper for evert bottle and we must to say the sentence only with that vowel and how the last paper says and the other team must to guess the sentence.) We can chose some of these games or propose others.

We need to decide a date so please write me saying what is your free dates between 26 December and 6 January to chose the best date. Friday or saturday are not good days because there are many people in "La Tequería".

This week we have a normal meeting and we will decide the date, i hope to see you all!

Some Things

Hi people, last week we weren´t many because it was festive but we had a entertaining conversation. For this, this week we repeat the formule, we will have a free topic but we have some things about to talk. At first i think we can search in internet some game, activitie or costume to do it in our Christmas Party and explain it to the rest, second if Sara and/or Dani come they could tell us about his last week travel (New York).

And finally i think we should to do something similar to a calendary with our future activities, topics, perhaps propose a excursion, house party or anything. I hope see you all this thursday!!

This Week Free Topic

Last meeting was a nice time speaking about both cultures, specially Christmas but finally we treated other topics so this week we will talk about the topic who we will chose at the beginning. We asked to Carmen about the Christmas Party and we get his permission , now we need to think about that party.

As now we have decided that everybody should bring some food and to prepare some games, specially  Christmas Games. See you tomorrow!

Spanish Customs Versus English Customs

Last week we talked abou refugees and we had an interesting chat so to this week we decided talk about customes, our group is a exhange group so we think would be interesting know more about the other nationality and compare them. 

In adittion we can talk again about The Christmas Party (Date, how do it, invisible friend, who could come...). Please come to organizate it!

Refugees and Christmas Party

Hi family, in our last meeting we decided to alternate topics with activities every meeting to do different things. Our topic for this week will be refugees, is a delicate topic but just now very important so you can get some information before come to speak about this.

On the other hand the next month is december and i think we can prepare a christmas party like the last year, we will talk about that this thursday so... All of you are welcome!

ALL OF US , LOOK´S FUNNY OR NOT?

To this week we are going to repit the recipe but this time we need to prepare a script in spanish, so ¡this time is the moment for The Goya! To value interpretations this week we have another new machine ¡GOYA-METRE!. So if you want to have a nice time with us and show your skills as actor/actress you should to prepare a script in Spanish from a good film and ¡Lights, camera, action!

RUTE´S FIRST OSCAR NIGHT TOMORROW

Tomorrow is the On Route Oscar night an evening dedicated to finding new talent for the film industry, perhaps a new Javier Bardem or Penelope Cruz.

Come at 7.30 to see people rehearsing their parts in the ceremony and then at 8.15 the ceremony begins culminating in the presentation of the Oscars for best male and female actors. If you are interested in the film business, want to improve your English or Spanish come along and who knows you might have a life changing experience.

Everybody should bring a script of a scena of a his favorite film and read it.

Hi On Routers! The last thursday we had a very funny meeting with our Joke Competition.

 We was nine, a lot of laughts, jokes and incredibles prizes.

This week the meeting will be anulate because a lot of people will can´t come, then we will postpone the meeting to the next week

 ( Thursday 20 ). To that thursday we will have a new event, "Oscar Night" in that night we are going to talk about cinema and actors and we will have a little game to be the best actor or actrees and win a good prize.

The last day was a very nice meeting, a lot of laughts, people and knowledges. 

The Quiz was very funny, ¡Thanks to John and Jackie for prepare it! 

¡Congratulations to our Champion Paco and the second team "Coca Cola" (Maria José and Vero)!

To this week we have other special competition, "The Joke Competition". All of us should to prepare two jokes, one in spanish and another in english, every joke will be evalued for a new special machine called Joke-Metre, ¡The only machine in all the country! 

To the best joke, we will have a incredible prize and others to the seconds jokes in english or spanish. ¡If you want to laugh, know new things and have a nice time all of you are welcome! 

The meeting start at 7.30 but The Joke Competition start at 8.15, see you!!

Last meeting and ¡Grand Autumn Quiz the next Thursday!

In the last Thursday we was eight and we saw Jhon & Jackie again after summer, was a nice meeting. We talked about the time of our meetings and we decided to keep as usual (Thursday at 7.30), but if we do something special we will start that event after 8 to the people that can´t come at 7.30. After Paco explained about environment and we had a good chat about that.

To this thursday we have a special event, Jhon and Jackie have prepared a quiz called Grand Autumn Quiz.

First meeting after summer

This thursday was the first meeting after summer. On Route return with force, we was eight and could see Paco and Vero again. New season, new people... We have a new On Router  ¡WELCOME Muriel!

We decide have a meeting every thursday at 7:30 as usual. Also to help to Maria José and Sara with their B2 we are going to try to speak about some topics on our meetings.

¡The first topic will be environment!

The last sunday our group had a very nice party on John & Jackie house, they invited us to a fantastic meeting with swimming pool, foreign food, very good people and... a dangerous  drink from John recipe, since always the magic of our Ice Man Dani and a exciting Skype Call with our dear Carmen María from San Francisco. 

(We miss you!!!)

Was a very good day, and we are grateful with John & Jackie for the invitation and the people who come.

Days like that must be repeat.

Goodbye for now Onroute-hearted

New stages make you grow because you give value to what you leave behind and get rid of unnecessary thoughts. A group like this is like a white crow, you get all the drawbacks before you start thinking about the idea of creating it. It is a well-known fact that it is easier to divide than it is to get people together, no matter their personality, culture, race or political thoughts. But we did it, we turn almost two years and the group keeps growing with tighter bonds every time.



I leave for now but I will come back to bring more experience and sharing to the people. My new stage has probably become true because I had you on those dark days in the winter when dreams seem impossible and humans become mean and isolated. I cannot be more pleased to have found you and I am happy to know that you will be here when I'm gone. You will be here when I'm back and our projects will be finished.

Easter

Let's welcome the beginning of spring!! The sun shines again after this rainy Easter.

  

Some of us have been travelling to distant places like MIAMI, JAPAN, BRITAIN, VALENCIA or PORTUGAL

 

Some others have been enjoying the traditional folk activities of the party.

And the rest have done their best to relax of their leisure time.

Now we are back to carry on with our projects: LET'S CHANGE THE WEATHER, THE ICE MAN, OUR CLUB.....

Winter has stayed behind and we are so thankful for that. Fortunately, life seems to appear again and the light brings us energy to live it!!

We would like to thank María del Mar for the wonderful day we spent with her, her son and friend in Cabra to celebrate Andalusia Day.

The day started just perfect with a beautiful sunshine after a rainy week. I thought "what else can you do than going trekking to one lovely place in La Subbetica Natural Park?." The first person I immediately thought of was Maria del Mar, being from Cabra, she must know of nice places to visit. When I told her about our idea, she overwhelmed me with a magnificient offer of things to do, and what is more, she kindly offered to join us and be our guide.

We didn't do as much as we have liked, only because we were delighted by the company. We went for a walk to Las Chorreras and found all the energy coming from the genuine trees in the park: holm oaks and gall oaks. It made us think how the Peninsula would have been in the past full with these trees. It's a shame in Franco's regime they decided to replant pines instead in the Subbetica Forests.

After this, we wouldn't have been able to escape from an energetic lunch at Los Pelaos, a place in Cabra well know for the fabulous dishes of chorizo, morcilla and huevos. I prefered to eat some chicken and callos, recommended by María del Mar, and I wasn't decepted at all, neither any of the rest of us.

Finally, we spent the afternoon at Fuente del Río Area and end up at La Ciudad de los Niños, which Valentina and Guiomar enjoyed so much. We could also have a nice talk tasting the typical Egabrense Sweets brought by our friend.

The Ice Man First Show

Fue un hermoso día, un domingo y estábamos en el club de tenis de Rute. No sólo para jugar al tenis, al squash, nadar y jugar tenis de mesa, pero más importante, para el lanzamiento de la carrera de nuestro amigo Dani como mago.

Un domingo de enero de 2016 fue el comienzo de la nueva vida de Dani como mago profesional. Por supuesto por ahora mantendrá su trabajo como fontanero pero pondrá los en un nuevo y brillante futuro para él y su esposa Sara.

Lo de la actuación, ¿cómo fue? También fue excelente. Todo el mundo estaba encantado y entretenido. No importaba si eran 3 o 33 o 83, Dani fue realmente, realmente mágico.

Así que si alguna vez lees el principio de este blog, recuerda que tenemos un nuevo proyecto que ayudará a Dani y Sara construir nuevas vidas como artistas. Cada domingo aparecerá más a menudo en restaurantes locales y bares. Se anunciará donde va a actuar así que si decides almorzar un domingo con tus amigos y familiares, antes de elegir adonde ir, ve a ver dónde actúa Dani. Si quieres tener una experiencia verdaderamente memorable y única ven a verlo actuar, que es gratis!
